Danny Spitz Danny Spitz Vice President 312.275.3139 Danny Spitz joined Baum Realty Group as Vice President of Investment Sales in 2011. Danny's primary focus is on investment sales throughout the Chicagoland area. Prior to Baum, Danny Spitz spent five years at @properties Commercial specializing in investment sales and retail leasing where he helped establish the commercial division for the company. Prior to joining @properties, Danny began his real estate career working for Chicago based bank MB Financial for 2 years as an underwriter for C & I and commercial real estate transactions ranging up to $30 million. Danny gained experience analyzing a variety of real estate deals and transactions for many commercial and industrial business clients. In 2004 Danny became a broker and spent two years in a one-on-one mentorship specializing in commercial real estate brokerage and development. Danny currently serves as Vice-Chairman for the Chicago Association of Realtors' (CAR) Commercial Forum and is an active member in International Council of Shopping Centers. Previously, he served as a director of Young Real Estate Professionals (YREP) and in 2010 was awarded a Silver award from CAR for gross lease volume. Danny was born and raised in Skokie, IL and attended Arizona State University where he graduated with Honors and received a bachelor's degree Cum Laude in Finance. Greg Dietz Greg Dietz Vice President 312.275.3125 Greg Dietz joined Baum Realty Group as Vice President of Investment Sales in 2011. Greg's primary focus is investment sales throughout the Chicagoland area. Prior to Baum, Greg Dietz placed debt and equity for real estate transactions nationwide while at Cohen Financial. Before joining Cohen, Greg worked in acquisitions, asset management, dispositions and leasing for Tishman Speyer Properties. In one of Chicago's largest real estate deals ever, Greg was part of the underwriting team that purchased the former Equity Office downtown portfolio for $1.7 billion. Greg also helped manage a portfolio of over 10 million square feet, which included roles in finance, performing hold/sell analyses and negotiating leases. Greg began his real estate career with Duff & Phelps where he produced property appraisals and provided consulting services on all real estate product types. Greg is an avid adventurer having backpacked around the world to 36 countries on 6 continents over a 14 month period. Greg was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH and attended Indiana University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Finance – Real Estate.
